So this little fella never came back huh. If this is an SDS employee this was a very weird post. I don’t usually believe they do this stuff but these do seem to pop up a lot right after the obvious pack nerfs happen.

Sorry, not buying packs because someone says they are "hot". I read this post all the time, and every time I purchase packs and get squat or a diamond equipment. This will be a hard pass.

I’m always amazed by the “packs are hot/cold” line of thinking. Pure RNG... certainly not tweaked constantly. It would in no way be worth it for SDS to tinker all the time. Think about it, just using napkin math (which I’m sure is flawed) there are 30 teams with 40 players plus ~300 FA. That means that there are ~1500 and layer cards out there. Even if you completely ignored odds for gold/diamond etc, your chances of getting one specific player in a pack with 4 would be ~.27%. Now combine that the fact that your chances of a diamond are ~1% of those of a common, and your chances of a specific diamond in a pack would be .0027%. Believe me I know this math is wrong/too simple but I’m just doing it to show scale... do out the math and you would have like a 2.7% chance of pulling a specific diamond out of 1000 packs...now there are millions of packs being ripped every day by 10s/100s of thousands of people, so there are a BUNCH of any given diamonds coming out... and yes, someone is going to pull Trout/Acuna out of back to back packs or even the same one... but that has no bearing on packs being “hot” or “cold” as a whole... it’s just probability. Read about the gamblers fallacy if you want to actually understand it, but the basic point is that the only reason SDS would alter the pack math is if people were not buying them and/or the secondary market was not functioning properly.

Lmao y'all are ruthless to this poor dude.. He ghosted hahaha. To be fair though I have pulled 3 diamonds from a BIAH this year. Verlander and someone else plus a diamond equipment.
EDIT Mine was a headliner pack. Pulled the Rockies jersey, Verlander and Salmon. Either way its possible but I think this kid is Ramone's nephew or something haha -

- a lot of people only post from their phones like me and I wouldn’t know how to post a pic from my phone. I got a free pack from the daily moment yesterday, let my son open it and he pulled Trout.
Would love to “prove” it.
