To be fair, the “stick” was in the perfect spot both times. Unfortunately for you he got jammed both times and blooped hits. Those are frustrating

That was hard to watch. I think the most egregious thing about that was the successful suicide squeeze on a pitch that was 3 inches off the ground.

The ‘user input reigning supreme’ has been a major flop for me this year. I’ve given up and hit multiple home runs on swings where the ball isn’t even touching the inner pci. That should never happen. And I really can’t recall that happening in previous years

It was supposed to be the theme this year that user skill would be heavily favored and its no different than last year that 1 player is ALWAYS gonna get the bad placement hits and 1 will not. I just lost a BR game 3-1 to a guy that didn't have 1 perfect/perfect hit all game and I had 4 of them and 2 were for outs.

I like when people play a baseball game and baseball happens and then they cry about it.

The inner pci is the sweet spot; home runs do happen on hits off the sweet spot; they’re not all barrels

I understand that not every home run is a barrel but one of the big things they pushed for this years game was that user input was going to matter more. I’m sorry if you can’t get the inner pci to the ball that’s bad input and you shouldn’t be rewarded for it

The first one would have been an out if you take the shift off don’t know why people use that online anyway not like the person your playing online is gonna have the exact same tendencies as the players with the shift on

Yes they do; hitters have tendencies attached to them in their profiles, like the hot and cold zones.

Players that are good Enough can hit the ball anywhere in the field with any player. I’m just saying even tho the players in the game have tendencies doesn’t mean that’s how the person using them is gonna hit

It’s harder to do; you have a better chance of bunting against the shift than slapping it with Ortiz, for example. I leave it on and it helps a lot more than it hurts. If sometries to exploit it I’ll take it out, but it’s one in a 100.
