What difficulty level is ranked season on?

I play on all star batting legend pitching but when I play this how do you know what you are playing on?

It progressively gets harder. I believe 600 you hit all star. Maybe 500. 700 is HOF. 900 is legend.

Your rating. You’ll start on rookie and every win you’ll pick up 20-30 points or so and lose some if you lose. when you play your first game you’ll see what I’m talking about. Also you can match up against people in a rating higher than yours and the difficulty is based on the highest rating.

0-399 is played on Veteran
400-699 is played on All Star
700-899 is played on Hall of fame
900+ is played on legend.Your don’t lose points when you lose games until you’re rated 400 or higher.

I'd like to add that even though you are let's say rated at 0 points and your opponent is rated 900+, the game will be on legend difficulty because the highest rated player dictates the difficulty. Chances of this happening are pretty slim of course, but still good to know once you start climbing the ladder.

You can avoid getting matched up with opponents with a rating much higher than you by keeping your opponent search window small. If you are new to The Show and RS I would suggest doing this for the first few games.

This is so not true. The lesser ranked player ALWAYS dictates the difficulty. Only way it is fair, but I hate it. I am a WS player and when I get matched with lesser players it is ALWAYS on friggen all-star difficulty. I am a 800-900 player and only get put on all star vs lower ranked players

You are wrong dude. This year it is always the highest ranked player. Check the notebook/log book or whatever it’s called in the DD menu.
