Can you hoard packs?

I was just thinking… Choice packs like topps now, bosses, etc. Can I save those for later to see which players are more valuable? Example, if I had saved the first inning boss pack I would have seen now that Valenzuela would be the most valuable card and would have picked him. Can I just save all these packs up and open them later? I haven’t played the game in a few years and these choice packs are new to me, I just want to make sure they don’t expire or anything
