you're playing a video game. There is no such thing as quick pitching. When you're playing the game as long as you're paying attention then there is no issue. If you're not ready to hit when your guy gets in the box then either stop playing or pause the game.
To pretend that there’s “no such thing as quick pitching” is false. Any pitcher in the stretch pitching and not pausing is quick pitching, now mix in the slide step with that. It’s an advantage. All I’m saying is R2ing is the only thing that can slow it down a bit. You say step out? You only get one step out an at bat. Pausing constantly is just as bad as toxic R2ers. Using R2 a few times to slow the game down a bit is not a sin.

He right a ball a balk only occurs with runners on base.

Balks with no runners on base Without runners on base you do not have to come set. Some just don not understand what a balk is. -

Explain to me why i get R2'd out of the windup then. Not everyone that hates R2 is a "quick pitcher." Bring balks back, none of us actually care as long as R2 is gone
Yeah cause Balks are only called with runners on base.

How is using Kenley cheese? Because you can’t hit vs him? How about be ready to hit when you get in the box instead of holding R2?
No i hit just fine. How about you come set before a pitch like a the rules of the game says you should. Oh sds doesn't make you, so you want to throw 10 pitches in 60 seconds?
Only with runners on base you have to come set.

You have to get on base to balk. Do you guys even know what a balk is. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO COME SET IF NO ONE IS ON BASE.

if you get to R2 whenever you want then the pitcher should be able to step off the mound as much as they want. Can only step off the mound 3 times in an inning is BS.

Same. Some times it needed to get the timing..I've faced some who abuse that button and usually they are trash. I.just wait them out.

Don't let R2 interrupt the pitcher. Problem solved. If you don't like "quick pitching" then change your presentation options and turn off fast play.

You will not get called for a balk if you do not set. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO COME SET IF NO ONE IS ON BASE, BALKS WITH NO ONE ONE BASE IS IF YOU START THE WIND UP AND DO NOT THROW A PITCH OR STEP OFF THE MOUND WITH THE WRONG FOOT. IN THE CONTEXT WHICH WE ARE TALKING THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN IN THIS GAME. THERE IS NO BALKS CALLED FOR QUICK PITCHING. IF UMPIRE DEEMS THE PITCHER IS QUICK PITCHING A BALL IS CALLED BUT IT IS NOT A BALK IT IS FOR SAFETY OF THE HITTER.

Technically, no, there is no “balk” when there are no runners on base:
Rule 8.01(b) Comment: With no runners on base, the pitcher is not required to come to a complete stop when using the Set Position. If, however, in the umpire’s judgment, a pitcher delivers the ball in a deliberate effort to catch the batter off guard, this delivery shall be deemed a quick pitch, for which the penalty is a ball. See Rule 8.05(e) Comment.
Rule 8.05(e) Comment: A quick pitch is an illegal pitch. Umpires will judge a quick pitch as one delivered before the batter is reasonably set in the batter’s box. With runners on base the penalty is a balk; with no runners on base, it is a ball. The quick pitch is dangerous and should not be permitted.
