Thankfully got a 99 CAP Batter and Pitcher before they fixed the glitch. Easy peezy!

This game. My 94 contact 129 power guy can't hit it out of the infield. Closing and restarting the game because something is jacked up.

Might be that 129 power

haha yeah sorry 124. Anyway restarted game, HBP, walked, then single to left. Cleared. It's ridiculous just like most moments are.
Was great before when Matty V and DeRo were talking about how much power I have as a rookie and patience at the plate and blah blah blah and then lazy roller to first base.
Testing it now if I can clear it with the controller put down. Yep 2 straight walks.

As a new first year DD player, I don’t understand the purpose of the daily moments. Is this just another program for us to work through? Or is this the first thing that DD wants us to do when we log in, get warmed up and get us to engage with the game each day?
If the former, then I understand I’m not supposed to be successful on this without some effort. If the latter, then this particular program needs to be changed so that you are successful with a bit less effort.
For example , in today’s moment with Adam Dunn (which I’ve played at least 10 times), I have a least two at bats each game with a good swing. To me, if this is a first thing you do each day program, I should have been successful on one of those swings. I flew out to the track or hit a bunch of singles each time. If not that kind of program, that’s fine, it is a part of The Show I will avoid . And will continue to do so. No problem.
Thanks in advance for thoughts some of you old timers have!!

It is a different program that unlocks some unique cards, some of which (the Evolution Cards) have their own program to get a higher version of that player.
People struggle with different moments. Some I get done in one try while others take me way too long. You can skip a few if you don't like them and still get the main rewards from the Daily program as long as you don't skip too many.
Oh, and you can go to the programs menu, then to the Daily Program and see the rewards you can earn from doing them.

I personally enjoy the new program... frustrating at times sure but overall nice to play for new cards

I actually completed Whitey Ford and used him in a RS game. He gave up 2 HRs in 8.1 innings.
I think my guy was a bit swing happy though. A 93mph “fast ball” is gonna get wrecked

That’s fun… I have done every daily so far this one I can’t even get a hit let alone 4 total bases

We're playing against Expos Pedro's card but facing him in his Bosox uni at Fenway. Details, details.

FYI guys, I unlocked the first Evo pack after doing yesterday’s moment (July 8). I went with Whitey Ford. His moments are really easy but just a little time consuming. Finished each one on the first try but it took about an hour to do them all because some require you to pitch a full game. Then there’s the missions, two online and two offline. You can do both offline missions in one game against the the CPU. Pitch a complete game with Ford and get 10 strike outs and that’s both offline missions done. Very easy and then you’re done with his 50 points without doing the online missions and it’ll take about an hour and a half to two hours of your time to complete the evolution. Once that’s done, go to the fourth inning program and go to collections and collect his card for an easy 20,000 XP towards the 4th Inning. There’s also a 20,000 XP collection for Nelson Cruz if you wanna go with him first but I can’t tell you how easy or how long that will be yet, obviously.

this sucks

Cruz was very easy, in my opinion. But I love his swing and am a big Twins fan

Tip for anyone trying to hit the 4 TB in today's moment. I struggled on a few attempts and then it occurred to me that it might be affected by which loadout is sitting on the ballplayer. I exited the moment, changed the loadout from pitcher to hitter, and then succeeded on the first swing of the next attempt. Contact went up from 40s to 80s. I don't really use the ballplayer so I'm sure this will be old news to anyone using it a lot, but I hope this helps someone else.
