Thoughts on Legend Hitting

Any thoughts, tips, or advice for hitting on legend? I've had three games this season where I allowed between 1 to 3 runs. Lost both. Needless to say, I couldn't hit for the life of me on legend. I'm fine with Hall of Fame, but something shifts at the legend difficulty.

Go on practice mode. Put difficulty on Legend. Put fastball velo all the way up on sliders.

That’s a good tip to go into practice mode but unfortunately legend offline is more like HOF online.

That’s a good tip to go into practice mode but unfortunately legend offline is more like HOF online.
Not if you put fastball velo to the highest.

I've tried the practice mode with full sliders. Maybe I just need to commit to long term reps. But I feel like there is a big difference offline with the internet connections/input lag. Maybe it's all in my head, though.

I legit don’t know how people can hit on legend lol. They must be superhuman or something. I’ve practiced a lot on legend and I just cannot get used to it online. It is what it is though, I can make WS just have to stop playing after that lol

I don’t remember legend being this difficult though. In past years I was able to get to 1000 fairly easily. This year the highest I’ve gotten was 916. The hitting is just brutal.

I kinda like HOF to be honest, I think it’s the best or at least most fair difficulty in the game. But, legend, wow yeah not fun at all. And I know it’s not just me cause my opponents can’t hit either lol. It usually ends in extras with the free runner at 2nd. I hear ya, though.

I usually am a Franchise mode only type of player, but I play on Legend difficulty and I play at minor league stadiums. The fans in the actual team stadiums cause the game to have like a split second lag where u actually can't see a slider coming in or a sinker moving in and down. Minor league stadiums help the gameplay be smoother and you can follow the ball quite easily to make contact.
