Game in RTTS mode is crashing after 1.42 update

Game would crash while saving session in RTTS. Also, game crashed while switching from batting to fielding in middle of game.

Mine does the same. The crashes have only occurred after the recent update. I play on regular PS4. My game crashes in RTTS mode during a game every time so I'm essentially stuck in this mode and cannot continue. Any assistance is appreciated.

I'm having the same issue. I can play through 1 RTTS game, then when I try to advance to the next game after first is complete, it crashes. Xbox series X is still 100% functional though. When did the most recent patch get released?

Same...trying to grind for diamond created player but cant get past 2 games without the whole game crashing

Update: To work around this, when I complete one game in a series, I don’t advance to the next game. I return back to the clubhouse so the game can save progress. That tends to work for the time being

Lmao I feel so [censored] stupid now this was happening to me and I was like well [censored] maybe it's my console because it's literally turning off after freezing for 10 seconds when I click advance to next game... So now I'm reinstalling the game and it's taking forever even on gigabit internet

Mine just crashed on second game in series.

Its because of xbox players that it is happening we never had this issue when it was just playstation player's #xbox hackers

Mine was fine all day until about an hour ago. Now I can't finish one game before it crashes.

Add me to the list - mine just crashed . was working fine all day too.
and i just got called up to the majors. got in about 4 games in the majors and in game 5 it crashed after the game ended. on xbox one.
update - so i restarted and got 2 games in. hope it doesn't happen again.
