After a great 1st week here comes the game balancing

I've already noticed less stars and lower XP in online games.

I have not noticed that..if anything I think I am getting more XP especially in RS games.

Way less. Was getting over 1000XP per half inning since launch. Now I can't touch 1000XP. Had a 36 pitch inning with 7 batters. A triple and 2 single and still under 1000XP

I agree it seems less program stars are coming for just playing the game. I can't remember what it was like last year, but it sure feels like my star count doesn't move at times. As for the reduced XP, sounds like that was in this latest patch and is ridiculous.
