Adjustments

With how the game is playing this year, I’ve definitely had to change how I play. Mine have mostly been with hitting and finally taking more pitches, but what are some things y’all have noticed you had to adjust to this year?

I had to completely switch up how I approach an at-bat. I got pretty lazy with my PCI because 20 had so many pitches forced down the middle, so I just sat high and never really adjusted to low offspeed bc I didn't have to. That approach really hurts in 21, so now I play with only outer PCI that fades once the pitch comes in. It helps me focus on the pitch and not focus on the PCI because I love to overthink it.

I dont know if its an adjustment this year so much. But when I'm not hitting well, I have to tell myself to be more patient. I get swing happy sometimes.
