One of two things. You’re lying, or XP is wildly different. I scored 6 runs in a 9 inning RS game on AS and didn’t get 6k.

That was today playing the Mother’s Day conquest. I don’t remember exact numbers but I’m certain I was getting between 3800-4200 XP per game.
Worked counts and had a few games I put up double digit runs so I would think that factored in to getting nice chunks of XP per game
No chance anyone will ever get that much in 3 innings. Perhaps if your game goes 9 innings.

Knocking out the Jackie Robinson conquest map. One of the missions is to steal 3M fans, so, playing the dodgers on all star to complete that.
If you want to check the game log for accuracy, it was this morning around 8am est and ended at 8:21
First inning, facing Urias, saw 25 pitches, put up 5 runs and the dodger went to Price out of the pen when I reached my pitcher in the lineup. Got 1659 xp for that inning alone....but I’ll continue
Pitching in the bottom of the first, gave up a HR to betts and a double to Bellinger, 2ks and a pop out....328xp
Top 2nd hitting against price again, saw 14 pitches, hit a two run bomb and 2 singles...845xp
Bottom second, pitching, 2ks and gave up a single...443xp
Top third, facing victor Gonzalez now, saw only 13 pitches, one home run with Solak and a single...783xp
Bottom third, bring in Rivera to close, 2ks and 485xp.
9-1 win
Exited the game and it showed a total of 4448xp earned.
I rest my case

As an update for people, I have a full time job and yard work to do every day when I get home and I'm about 40k away from the boss pack currently. Just grinding conquest and leveling up different CAP archetypes. When you eventually level up an archetype that boost of XP is a huge help. Just keep grinding and you can get there if you really want to

Edit: considering that the map was finished by beating the stronghold last, that XP total above may have included the XP for completing the last few missions within the conquest program...just a thought

I just do not pay attention to how much XP I get for games, I try to do at least the daily mission that are offline, any player base missions usually in CQ or RS. I am working on Matt Kemp I am close to finishing him off. Just play the game and the XP Adds up.

It does, but slowly. Playing 4 hours and only getting 15-20k Turns into a giant grind, and I can’t play four hours a lot of nights.

If you can only amass 5-10k in XP while playing for two hours, that’s on you
Not trying to be an asshat, honestly I’m not. Just saying that I would be willing to bet the vast majority of the player base will hit 350k XP no problem (barring any server issues)
If you cannot hit 350k, maybe you’re just meant to be in the player base that has to buy bosses to get them
Hope things turn around for you but complaining on this forum incessantly over mainly non-issues, won’t help

if that is the case, Should play each mode and figure out which one gives you the most xp. if you only have 1 hour to play a night that is only one RS game, Could be 4 or 5 CQ games, Do the two offline daily missions witch consist of innings played with hitters or pitchers from a team. Do the Daily collections that will give you 1,000 or 1,500 for each of those. Look at the CQ maps mission find out what gives XP for mission completions. do the Daily Moments give you xp as well, even if you fail the moment you still get XP. Play vs the CPU see how much xp you get. Even playing Homerun Derby gets you xp not sure how much. RTTS will give you good XP to. I think I get 500-1500 depends on performance usually the higher side. I can play about 5 games in an hour. If xp is your goal for inning program, you got to find where you get the most. Try MTO I have started one but I do not care for that mode. Do the TA moments, Show down gives good XP if you can not beat them or make it to final boss then maybe not a good idea, If you can get to the final boss then it might be worth it but showdown can be time consuming. Manage your time correctly with what modes gives YOU the most XP.

In addition to this, maybe try and boost yourself forward to get those rewards. Its a good easy way of getting quick xp under a time restraint. Plus since you're just boosting yourself you're not negatively impacting anyone else, so its harmless.

But just know this about me, I am addicted to this game and it’s the only game I play anymore. I am normally a HUGE critic of the game (forums posts from years past will confirm lol) and I want it to be and play the best it can...Bc this is by far the best sports game on the market
I come to the forum to gain and spread knowledge, lying about the game is the last thing you’ll see me doing lol. At worst, you may see me come rant about gameplay after some RS losses...but the game plays really well online this year and I feel like I am solely responsible for my 3 losses so far

I agree with you, This is the only game I play as well. I started DD at the end of 2016. Been on the forum since 2017 as well. XP is all on the individual what you complete, How well you play and the level you play on. Most people stick to what the the mode the like best. For me CQ, RS, Moments, and Showdown is where I play the most. I will some event games, play vs CPU, RTTS, and even MTO. I never get bored of this game.
