But I HAAAAATE showdown. Why couldn’t they leave the program missions like they had is last year?

It's not that bad tbh. Do some research on what missions are later in the showdown, and work counts as much as possible. What exactly are you struggling with?

I agree. I'm not great but wow does my [censored] get handed to me in the 1st inning showdown in the final. One time I was only down by 3 runs with 10 outs to go and then I couldn't hit the broad side of the barn. At least I recoup some stubs and a pack along the way. Not a total loss for 500 stubs.

Agreed. I posted something about the same thing. It's still early and SDS is going to have to come up with more content fast since there won't be any moments created based on the current season for a while.

I am certainly struggling with it. I have actually done better skipping to the end after 1st draft than I have trying to complete the entire showdown challenges.
I just wish it wouldn't reset you if you lose a showdown. I would have it where blue missions can't be repeated but you can repeat a showdown but you have to repay the entry fee every time you attempt the showdown.
From my experience and listening to others it seems like either you beat it easily in the 1st or 2nd try or you can't ever beat it. At least having checkpoints along the way would help people beat it given enough tries at just a couple of missions rather than having to replay the 12 missions.

It really depends on your skill level and now that they have apparently made hitting a little harder it is going to hinder the average and below players more.
Plus, they said that they listened to their fans and changed March to October so it was not an all or nothing mode this year, only to introduce a different all or nothing mode.
Last year I could pick and choose missions to do. If one was too hard I could simply skip it and do the others and earn stars. With them all tied to showdown we can't do that.
