Tanana is basically Blylevin. I have him and his fastball, slow curve, 12-6 curve and change. I would pass, but he might be more valuable as the game goes on.

I think I already know the answer, but just need approval from a bunch of random people. Obviously I have Trout, in fact, have him Max paralleled. So the question, is Tanana worth the 360k stubs? I’m undecided at this point on whether I’ll complete the AL collection, just not much there that excites me and I see as a must right now. I’m working on finishing NL, too many good options that appeal to me in completing that collection. Clearly selling off trout easily completes the collection, I’ll probably get it done even without selling off trout. But is Tanana worth locking in the potential future flexibility. Right now, I don’t foresee Trout leaving my lineup for quite a long time. With him maxed and IE, there’s maybe 2-3 cards right now that would replace him. Those that have Tanana, does he hold up in RS? I’m typically a 7-800 RS player, with occasionally making WS if I put in the time. Does Tanana hold up in those matchups? Appreciate any insight and or clarity. Thanks in advance.

If I'm honest, Tanana can be really predictable. I hover around 800 rating, and you honestly can just sit fastball with him. I feel as if it's too hard to locate other pitches in the zone, with two curveballs, so basically you're sitting on fastball/changeup, but then when someone gets behind in the count, it's basically guaranteed to be a get-me-in fastball. I'm not sure if I really helped, but here's my two cents.

Also depends if you want the Ricky Henderson for the AL West. If you complete the Angels the rest of the AL West is not very expensive. Henderson is hitting almost .400 for me and has good power and is almost auto in steals as long as you dont run on a pitchout, he still beats it more than most, lol. As for Tanana, I have only used him offline, which you can pitch good with almost anyone, so I cant really comment on that.

Threw 4 games with Tanana and I'm having the hardest time painting with him. Seems like pitches are all over the place. Not the greatest at pitching but he's the only one that is that wild for me.

He’s good but end game is a major stretch. He’s arguably not even top 3 right now

There are going to be so many amazing cards that collections aren’t necessary

I agree with you. Obviously the TA cards are gonna be cracked again but it’s gonna be a while before we get to those stages. Potm has been really good already. That burnes card is amazing online and Ohtani is awesome too.

There will be some really good cards this year, especially with the parallel system. I do the collections as I go, what else am I gonna spend the stubs on? I’m currently down to the most expensive teams so I’m just saving stubs til I have enough to buy trout.

The TA and potm cards are basically a grind fest, you can do the exchanges and those are cheap enough anyways.

His offspeed pitch array is the best in the game. If you use them as the primary pitches & just bring his fastball when you need it you will dominate with him. I am an above average player - Nothing special...But I can’t remember the last time that I didn’t throw a complete game shutout with him. He’s SO dam good.

For Tanana alone it's probably not worth locking Trout in. But for Chipper, Ortiz and Soriano it definitely is worth it.

    This is the way
