Sportsking, I've read the entire thread. (at least the quoted parts because I can't see Maverick). Skepple wasn't at fault here.
And that's not me defending him because I do think he and Mitch carried your thing a little too far, but that's a topic for another time. -

Yeah, I muted him. It's a carryover from the old forums when there was a huge debate over Jimmie Foxx, you probably know that/saw it. Except this thread had nothing to do with it. Maverick either intentionally or misintentionally interpreted the request for how to search someones profile as "stalking". (I think intentionally, but obviously can't 100% prove that, so benefit of the doubt) Skepple rebuffed that accusation. Then Maverick brought up the Jimmie Foxx thing and it spiraled from there.

If it was a joke then sure but all it takes is a simple read through the comments from him to know that wasn’t a joke, I’d call you a sheep for defending him but that’s more a maverick play than my style

It was about whether Jimmie Foxx is "worth" his price. Obviously a lot of that is a personal interpretation. We all value things a little differently and how many stubs you have does factor in.

It was about whether Jimmie Foxx is "worth" his price. Obviously a lot of that is a personal interpretation. We all value things a little differently and how many stubs you have does factor in.

Example for me I dont like Gwynn, Dawson, etc and a lot of people I know love those guys. Don't know how it got personal in the first place and how it got carried into this thread

Sports king has a bit of a clue. My initial post was just playful jabbing. Then like a sensitive twit. He jabbed back, so I kept going. At one point i admitted to taking it all too far. He then began bringing up a host of old posts. I latched on to the Foxx argument he was making. Which is t even my main point.
To catch up to speed on the Foxx argument a poster asked if Foxx was worth it. A bunch of people including Skepple said he was. I said he was garbage as I wa only batting .222. I then went on to elaborate that there is no way even with a good experience that is was worth the stubs compared to some great alternatives like Arenado, Miggy, Pujos and others. I then have asked for Skepple to prove his point by showing the OPs of Foxx and comparable cards.
Regarding the sheep thing. I call people sheep for agreeing with Skepple without presenting an independent credible argument or for just adding on when they weren’t mentioned.
My real issue is that Skepple is an arrogant [censored]. He is condescending to random people on the site. Furthermore, he is sooo sensitive and can’t even say Happy Holidays to a person who he has conversations with the last two days more than most of his family members.

My apology wasn’t to him as much the community. I took it back because he immediately proved me right. I apologized for saying he was a douche then he immediately acted like a douche. Him and his sheep called for me to be banned like sportsking
