You did the right things; pretty much what’s left (if you haven’t seen it in YT) is to focus on release point and follow the ball’s movement. The rest is repetition. Could be your approach you need to change.
No substitute for experience; practice hitting with two strikes.

Legend, put velocity on fastball and control on sliders to the max, set practice mode to only throw you fastballs
I suggest not playing online right after you do this (cause it can mess up your timing) but everything slower seems easier to hit after you do this drill.
Don't be mad if you don't make contact as it is hard too when it is set to this.
Focus on moving your PCI to the ball.

Get a monitor if you don’t have one. Other than that it’s just practice makes perfect. I’m just okay at the game but I’d suggest not presetting your pci in anything under HOF.

Sadly, there is no magic bullet. I have been playing this game series since inception & I am still not a great hitter. Some guys seem to have it, some don't. You are also going to go through some major slumps sometimes that will make you consider deleting the game off your console. Some good ideas:
- One of the strikezone cameras
- Custom Practice
- Do not have a "still" pci when the pitch is coming in...be moving your thumb
- If you struggle up & in, sit on it. Do not [censored] your hand when you get the pitch you're looking for, stay steady.
- If you are really struggling and the guy is throwing junk, do not really start the at-bat until he throws you the first strike.

There's a lot of good YouTube videos!
The one thing that works the best for me if I'm getting pitching high and tight is starting my PCI in that location.
I'll probably never stop dropping my PCI down below the zone on pitches right down the middle but that's another story...

Also use online rated using regular MLB teams as practice mode play on hof or legend in order to try to get better. Don't worry about your online rated record just have fun. Hope it helps your confidence if you play DD.

Just play. A lot. And take a break if/when you start getting frustrated. It is almost impossible to hit if you are playing on tilt.
