    Always wondered this,
Years past u could feed them to cap or do them for team exchanges etc.
But lot of these cards are more than normal team collections. Just just curoius anyone would buy a 70 stub common free agent

Not really. There's a free agent collection, but beyond that they all suck and exist to annoy us when we get 4 common free agents in packs

They can be useful for position exchanges

Exchanges for programs or daily missions. The exchanges that have only a positional requirement. Some use them for upgrade exchanges. They also may be picked up by MLB teams so they have their card in the game already if/when that happens.

You know those pesky 1000 stub commons that are stopping you from completing collections? Without free agents there is a whole hell of a lot more of those

I think also if a FA signs or moves to the MLB roster, SDS will take them off the FA roster and put them into the LS collection?

A lot of them are players not on 40 man rosters but still in organizations, that can be added back into team collections as the season goes on.
Where else would they go? Deleted? Makes no sense if they did that, especially if you already owned and/or collected them
