why get rid of levels??
-
this game offers a lot of improvement imo from last year*** with the leveling up of all players instead of prestige for a few. that being said, as I sit here for the 5-6th day of full first inning xp,I remembered the level system from last year that granted kluber, reggie, etc and wondering why not have that again this year??
also yeah ii know lots of xp but I study 14-16 hours a day and use a quick showdown or event to keep me up or not as sad
*** when this game works

Because other than Kluber the XP path was essentially worthless other than personal satisfaction of leveling up. This new format prevents you from having to open a back for bronze babe Ruth at level diamond 60
-
Eric Thames and Jose Ramirez weren’t bad cards, hell I use LS Ramirez in my team now.

the cards were pointless but Ill take the equipment and stubs we got from it. Thats what i miss about it the most

Being able to get Kluber, and Kershaw in 19, within a few days ruined RS for a while. You only faced those pitchers, and that was not fun. Wouldn't have minded if they kept it, for pack and stub rewards only, but please never give 99 pitchers so early again.

the leveling certianly needed adjusting, like having that 93 clemente would have been nice at 100 or something, but yeah packs or just anything would be nice

So you don't think we are getting that stuff through the inning programs? because I'm pretty sure that was the whole point

i mean we are to a degree. the main issue I have with the new system is once you've complete the 1st inning it doesn't make any sense to play the game. at least before, I could continue unlocking equipment and stubs but rn there's not a big incentive for me to play the game.

Br, ws, events. They made it possible for almost everyone to obtain them just by playing. Then you have the main conquest map, that's good for a nice chunk of stubs providing you sell the golds, and another ten packs. Conquest also, or online, gives you plenty to play for in gaining pxp. If you can't find something to do, you're not looking.
And oh, let's not forget the two pieces of diamond equipment in cap's path.
The game is frigging loaded.

If finishing the 1st inning means you have no motivation to play anything else then not sure what anyone can do for you.
BR program is the main focus for me now that I'm done. I suck at BR but I can work my way through some wins and score some low silvers and gold which will be useful for collections.
The game has so many more avenues to work this year

I agree. I personally have never been a big fan of BR but this year I'm gonna have to suck it up and play it. As of rn, Im happy with my squad given the cards that are available so im just chilling until something new thats worth it to me come out.

Ive completed most stuff but i'm still playing RS and events, just sucks that all the XP that I do gain goes no where

The XP path was finite too.
-
I used Reggie all year.

Personally I think people are to hung up on the xp. XP is just the path for the inning programs what was in the xp path have been put in other programs.
The Silver and bronze legends pack is in the inning program
Gold Flashback and legends pack is in the team Affinity.
The Show Classics inning program
Add in extra way to earn cards through BR and RS that replaces the high diamond pack (Kluber Pack)
The only thing not replaced yet is the 99 pack which was 5 cards we will get them elsewhere where
Overall these rewards will evolve and get better as time goes on where the xp path stayed static it never got better. This system make so much more sense and when you earn XP you know where it's going and not trying to convert it into stars and that magic unknown system

if you saw one of my previous posts i mentioned I dont mind the cards or the packs being moved into the inning program. I do think we might be getting cheaped out on stubs though

How many months did people play after they were maxed out in recent years? So, now, they're just splitting up all that time a month at a time instead of it being worthless in August/September.
-
I preferred the path last year, it may have taken a while but Iiked it better. You got two free 90 overall and above players at the higher levels and it wasnt a timed path like the innings are.
