If there are big names involved, SDS doesn’t typically follow the actual MLB PoTM selections. You could get a Buxton, but I’m not expecting to see a new Acuna that competes with the live series 92 Diamond. They would have to give Acuna speed,
Contact, and power that they tend to only allocate for end of year cards for Acuna. I don’t think I’ve ever predicted an SDS POTM card accurately in years.

Acuna won't get a card. I expect Buxton as the main prize with Burnes and Vladdy as the next best 2

If they follow their previous plays -- the ultimate POTM card for April will be Buxton. They have historically used one of the two players selected by MLB as the "top tier" card for the month. The others generally seem to be SDS' choice based on performances. So I'd expect to see a Duffy and Vlad Jr as part of the other POTM options.

    I'd love a Corbin Burnes.

will we need all of the April topps now cards to get the main potm card? I went ahead and bought all of them just incase and was thinking of investing some more stubs into them as well

Mercedes may get one. I doubt Rodon gets one with his 87 topps now card, especially since its likely Buxton will be the lightning player and the rest of the POTM cards are usually like 83-87 (or something close to that).

I'd expect to see either Burnes or Duffy (or both really) and Vlad Jr at least. The rest I wouldn't even know where to start. Melancon for a pen option? Bryant? Walsh?

Rodon is worthy! His numbers are minuscule! Hopefully he gets a really good card! But you know it’s goin to Buxton.

Tatis Jr. last year was a consensus choice that I think everyone got....was also one of the best cards of the year.

I agree he is right up there in line to deserve it. Only reason I don't think he gets one is because they came out with that Topps Now card. I don't think they'd double up on him.

Unfortunately you are likely to see cards like pitcher Gausman. Nobody wants a Gausman except for perhaps some diehard Giants fan.

I know his batting average isn't great but I can see one of the POM's being Rhys Hoskins, 8 homeruns already if he keeps up this pace he should hit 40 and he's a player that SDS has always liked.
