I have a PS5 and looking to upgrade from my current 1080p 27" monitor.
I'd like 32" and fully optimized for all of the PS5 graphical bells and whistles. I don't understand all of the different tech specs these days, so if anyone has any suggestions on something that will perform great for the life of this console gen, I'd appreciate it!
Looking to spend under $400...if that is even possible.
Thanks in advance!
Hardly any monitors support 4K/120HZ unless you go with a TV that supports HDMI 2.1 and you can’t get those for under 400$
I think Alienware came out with a monitors that does 4K/120Hz not too long about but will set you back thousands
Check out the BenQ models on Amazon. They have some very good monitors at semi-decent prices.
All the bells and whistles, under $400. That’s cute
You can’t get hdr that’s worth a ish on a monitor unless you spend around $1k. 4k and hdr ain’t cheap. Your better off buying a good new tv
If you mainly play the show it only runs at 60fps so a 120hz monitor will do nothing for you anyways. Only games you’ll get 4k 120hz on will be garbage graphically. The ps5 can’t even run siege at 4k over 60fps and that game is almost 6 years old.
Don’t worry about optimizing it for a PS5, the games don’t, so why should you and waste a bunch of money. This game plays at 60 frames. 99% of PS5 games play at 60 frames. By the time the PS6 comes out, games will be optimized for the PS5 just like this game is optimized for the PS4 pro.
If you play games besides this then yes just look at a 4K TV. Consoles are nearing call center scam levels at this point
Thanks for the feedback. You think this is a solid buy?
