Is it almost class action time?

Funny...
I suggested this (tongue-in-cheek) a few years ago. But it wouldn't change anything.
This is what happens when one company has a monopoly. SDS has exclusive rights to MLB likenesses, so there is literally no competition a realistic baseball video game.
Add to that the consumer's "it's good enough" attitude, and this is what you get.
The only way to stick it to SDS is to not buy the game. That's not going to happen.
What do you expect from an American made product?
We haven't made anything of quality since the Model T. -

Does anyone realize that the largest share of class action suit payoffs go to the lawyers? I've had a settlement from an actual wrongdoing from a video game company that used my likeness without permission and I and got pennies. What do you think you'll get out of this?
Accountability. Precedent. Better future business practice.
I think people are overreacting with this class action lawsuit BS, but you need to change your mindset brother. It's not about you or me and "what do I get out of it", such a lawsuit doesn't evolve around you and your wallet. It evolves around the things mentioned above.
Don't be a martyr in the cause of standing up to SDS
What in the world are you talking about? My message was that if such a lawsuit would take place, it should never be because of selfish motives and to get money out of it. It should be about holding companies accountable to ensure better business practice in the future.
Besides that, I think this whole class action lawsuit talk is ridiculous. Some kids have seen the whole Cyperbunk situation and now scream "ClAsS aCtIoN LaWsUiT!" whenever something isn't working as it's supposed to. The difference is that Cyberpunk was a half finished game where the studio lied to investors and shareholders to push the game for release despite not being finished. That is a whole different ballgame (pun intended) compared to the server issues we see with MLBTS.
Edit: and just to add some context for you; I was banned from this forum for the entire year of 2018 and early into 2019 for taking a dump on MLBTS 18 daily. So yeah I'm not the martyr you think I am.

anyone in this thread.....its apparent that he was just pissed about the losses hes compiling. no real lawsuit. lets be supportive. the game is having issues. they arent answering tickets with solutions. my ticket response was along the lines of are you sure you did "this".....of course we did SDS. hence the ticket. i offer this advice, it sucks, but soon when its all fixed HOPEFULLY lol, you wont have any more issues.
WHATEVER isnt there anymore, packs, cards, etc. ALWAYS SCREENSHOT EVERYTHING AT THIS POINT UNTIL THEY GET IT RIGHT. even you pack openings, the entire team collection prior to locking it in, and any orders you place, sell or otherwise. ITS JUST SAFER. hope this helps -

We haven't made anything of quality since the Model T.There’s only a monopoly because no other company has gotten the licensing. It’s not like the EA deal with the NFL, any company can get a license.
In fact, I’d argue that it’s really EA’s fault there is no other baseball game. Their exclusive NFL deal caused 2k to get a deal where no other 3rd party developer (EA) could get a license from MLB. -
The only way to send a message is to stop playing. Which we won’t because we are addicted to this game. So we’re better off hoping that this gets fixed soon while trying to get our fix in between crashes. Let’s be honest, deep down we love this game and just want it to work. I don’t want my money back. I just want this game to be as epic as it can be.

Doesn't RBI baseball have real players and teams? Yes I know they are not the same game but if they have the likenesses and teams and players, how is it an exclusive license?
