I wish they would just go by player accolades and not off the field bs, this card will be in my lineup for a while, especially since I'm not buying anymore bs stubs for bronze and silver packs this year. SDS got me 2019 and 2020, not this year gd'mit
-
Hes probably going to be taken out of the game IMO

They might offer another card in his place like they did a few years ago with a certain pirates reliever. Give that card up for the new one.
That guy is a pedophile scumbag.

The best defensive 2B I have seen, and a great all around player.
Considering allegations that he beat his first wife, and the spitting in the face of the umpire incident, I'm sure with the latest allegation that he will no longer be in the game anymore, and I would say rightly so.
You’re right. Guilty until proven innocent!

He was guilty of spitting in an umpire's face. There were also domestic violence injunctions served against him by police during his first marriage. Those are the facts.
I dont want it to be true either, but adding new charges, along with his past... it doesnt look good.

Love Alamor the player but he has to go.
There is precedent with Vasquez last year. He'll get removed. It is what it is. Don't sexually assault people, esp. minors.
-
His card is a great leadoff hitter, batting almost 500 for me

Why? Isiah Thomas has done worse, repeatedly, and confirmed in a court of law, but gets the royal treatment in the NBA 2K series.
sir this is MLB the show

MLB did an investigation and found evidence to warrant their decision. try again

I would have spit in the umps face for that strike call. But, eric gregg takes the cake.

Why not file the report 7 years ago when it supposedly happened? That should be one of the first questions answered before people condemn him.

its actually really common for sexual misconduct victims to not report initially or they report and it doesn't go anywhere. This doesnt mean action shouldn't be taken once its been looked into

It doesn’t look good either way. Why wait so long to say something unless you were motivated not to and now that motivation is gone. I don’t like these claims being made so far apart from the accused incident for obvious reasons.

doesnt matter what you like to be fair. Even after all this time MLB was able to find enough evidence that he did something wrong, thats all that matters really

they didnt release the evidence publicly but in the commissioners statement he mentioned reviewing the evidence that the third party law firm collected during their investigation

Well, considering that MLB caught wind of this a while ago and waited to conduct an investigation before terminating his contracts, I'd say that there is evidence.
You have to remember the legal department is involved in these decisions because they could face liability for terminating these contracts without cause. The fact they did so indicates to me that there was enough evidence that MLB thought they could either defend themselves in court, or that the public release of the evidence would be so injurious to his public image that Alomar would not risk pursuing it through the courts.

So your ok with accusing someone without seeing the evidence first?
