Showdowns are great

Super easy. Yeah ok.
Some of you people are clearly out of touch with reality.
It's not hard in the least

I use it as my batting practice for RS. I love the mode. It’s not that tough to come back from 15-0 either. Just have to be patient and work the confidence/stamina down.

It's definitely not impossible.

I just beat AL Central Showdown using zone hitting.I am shocked.
I was down 15-5 and Scored 11 runs with 12 outs to go.
Using Zone.
I started using Zone 2 days ago
Yeah, if I had to use a method other than zone with all the RNG, this would be impossible.
I actually beat it 3 times on directional
I bet I dont beat 1st boss on directional

Not everyone is an elite player. What should be done is to make the bosses replayable for half the initial entry fee without losing progress. Last year in the inning programs if you got stuck on a moment you could skip it and still do the others for program points, this year it is all or nothing for 70 (not really fun for the average player).
Just for clarification, I like the showdowns and have had pretty good success so far (beat 1st inning on 1st try and have beat AL Central 3 times)
Showdown is mainly Rookie and Veteran, no need to be elite, not even close. People have to stop swinging at every pitch. Just because it’s on Rookie or Vet doesn’t mean they’ll throw BP.

I really like the mode to, but it’s been very frustrating to play lol. I’ve completed a few enough times to get a couple Fotf players and other times I can’t get passed the first showdown. A lot of the struggles I’ve had I’m the mode are also on me because I get to impatient but then the reason im getting impatient is because I’m being patient only to be robbed by the super charged fielding and that gets pretty annoying pretty annoying. And at times I feel like I’m playing last years game again with all the good/good and good/squared up going for line outs or groundouts

My timing is great while hitting no matter what method it's just that zone is harder to make good contact but when I do it's going places.
Directional rewards good timing but has too much RNG

I used analog stride for years before 17, as soon as I switched to zone I hit a ton better.

I've only been able to beat it once but I'm hooked. Drafting and hitting...the best

I think I'm inching closer to solving it. I'm theorizing that only the Red missions are juiced, as to have that "Boss Battle" feel. I'd have to test it somehow, but Nola definitely feels like he throws harder, and the defense seems to make crazier plays. I know I've never seen Rhys Hoskins jump in a regular game like he does in that mission, and I've never seen Didi run so fast to get a ball
