Actually it depends more on your skill level. The higher the rating mod the higher the likelihood you’re gonna get matched up with the higher end of the rating window when searching for a game in ranked. It doesn’t guarantee you’ll always get matched up with the higher rating but is supposed to influence it to happen more often. So, it’s really up to you and how confident you are in your ability

️It hasn't been like that since MLB 18. It's just there. It doesn't do anything
