I am not sure what to think of this card, he seems like his change of velo will play well but honestly I don’t know if that fastball can actually keep anybody on their toes.
-
The circle change is good enough for the card to play. Not great but useable right now.

Everything he throws looks like it moves a ton, just wish he had 1-2 more mph on that fastball

I've been using him and he's unhittable. The key is not only his 124/9 H but that great control and fantastic movement on his pitches.

Hey I still had some golds in the bullpen. He will do just fine for now

I still have bronze arms in my bullpen, so believe me I’m not complaining, I’ll take him lol. Just would like a bit more jump on that fastball, but if used properly im sure he can be solid online, now whether I use him properly or not is a whole different conversation.

Can you beat SD on All Star on conquest or does it have to be a full 9 inning game? I've already done it once vs CPU on All Stat but of course wasn't award the points. Not trying to play a full 9 again
-
@JEEZY-E_PSN With parallel, every attribute jumps 1 each level, so his velo should jump as well. Curious to see what +1 velocity equates to in MPH.

Has to be 9 inning

After you beat SD in the CPU game you go back in the player program, then in the mission for beating SD and click on his card and "collect" it. Then you get the pts.

I think of him as a righty killer. Middle relief.. use when you're up against 3 righties..
He's got a tough arm angle and great movement.. similar to Eckersley, but with Hoffman's changeup..
He's gonna get hit hard against a good patient player using a lefty imo -

I hadn’t really thought about parallels with reliever stats. God, Chapman at level five could be untouchable.

Yeah, parallels are going to be one of the biggest game changes. I don’t think people are really getting how big a difference this is for all cards. What about players like Lofton and Buxton, when they’re at 5 they’ll have 104 speed, basically blink and they’ve made it 1st to 3rd.

They aren’t going 100+ on the speed are they?, The parallels make Lofton an end game bench bat IMO.

Why not? The have power, contact, vision, clutch, and just about every other attribute go over 100.

They haven’t ever done it with speed, I think it would mess with the gameplay too much, 104 speed guys would track every ball down, there would no longer be gappers or even bloopers.
-
So speed is where they draw the line? How can anyone have over 100 vision? Do they see through the ball to the core? Speed is going up on any card you level up. I don’t disagree that it’ll be insane, but I also haven’t seen anything from SDS saying there’s a cap on any attribute.

My CJ Abrams is tier 3 99 speed ill have him at tier 4 soon, so ill see if he breaks 100

Lol, doh, totally spaced on looking at my own Lofton card. I’m almost positive I leveled him up. Unfortunately; I’m not home and near my console; and the website isn’t working so I can’t check right now. Would love to hear from anyone that may have leveled and can share stats.
