It says I didn’t beat the challenge though. I beat it twice back to back after losing a bit and I didn’t get rewarded for the win. I played on all star and didn’t get the XP..

Adding onto the "choose the 4th or 5th starter to face the opp 4th/5th starter" once your starter has faced 3 batters you can always sub in your ace and then play as normal from there.
