Servers really as bad as people make it out to be?

Honestly, I personally don't have too much problem with the servers. Yeah there's been a couple of times where I think nobody could log in and a few times where I couldn't play the game, but I understand some bumps because a new game on a new platform.(and also sometimes the market has been pretty slow, but it still works) I see people out here complaining like they can't even open the game. To be clear, I'm not disputing your claims, I'm just saying that I haven't had as much trouble with the game in terms of servers and wonder actually how bad it is. If you were to log in right now would you be able to get it, and will it work normally?
You being serious with this right now bro. Not even wasting my breathe on this. Good day

Still getting tons of server errors as of yesterday morning. Costing me a showdown win.
It's ridiculous to say unhandled service errors would be caused by anything but the servers.
You've just proved a point with quadruple posts.
1- Servers haven't had nearly the issues since Sunday afternoon that we previously experiencing.
2- When somebody hits reply, you have a 60 second spam block by TSN preventing people from posting more than once every 60 seconds. You sir have an internet issue because your data being sent to these boards doesn't even refresh every 60 seconds.
I've also said this multiple times. It's not the servers. It's the coding, traffic management and data leaks. It's not the servers. It has been fixed for the most part and will only get better.
I'd look into your issue though...

Yes, I was posting on my phone from work, in the middle of a factory with very awful reception.
I was just saying it's absolutely not bad internet that's causing all these unhandled service errors.

Short answer, yes the servers are bad.

Why in the world are you shilling for SDS? You really think that that their servers are fine and it’s people’s internet?
Did you even read anything he wrote? He said the problems lie in the coding, the menus, the data. He never said anything about peoples internet being bad as being the majors problems we’ve had since day 1
-
1- I understand the issues SDS is having. Whiners gotta whine thinking they aren't trying to fix it and demanding stuff like a bunch of toddlers. The act is getting old.
2- Servers are fine. There's a difference between hardware, software and network traffic navigation outside of SDS control.
3- The poster I am making fun of is the guy who I am breaking balls about for his internet. He should't come complain that it's not his internet and post 4 times. Oh wait. He didn't. He posted once and his crappy internet made it get sent 4 times due to poor routing.
EDIT He just explained why he posted 4 times. Guess what? It was his internet on his phone because of how his signal couldn't reach a node to send data to the message boards. Proof again that I know WTF I'm talking about at the very least.
I didn't ever say that the unhandled server exception is because of people's bad internet. Those messages come from the SDS server and are sent to the console. I'm not going to get into the mechanics again of why the error message is created.
What people need to do is troll less, whine less, and find else to do instead of complain about something you can't control.
We good Einstein?

I agree. It's not bad internet causing the errors.
Having bad internet though certainly doesn't help the situation, as the ability for your console to send data as often as the game does, will most certainly contribute to a potential error with that message.
The message is generated via python language because of a data library access failure.

Okay, so if you spend 100$ on something you can't use, you will just find something else to do and you aren't gonna whine? I don't believe you, you are only lucky one right now not being affected with these crappy disconnections. Good for you, really. But if you were in my skin, you would also whine a lot

I'm too old to complain about things outside of my control.
These are a total inconvenience, but in the grand scheme of things, these are first world problems. Champagne problems. Whatever your reference choice is.
I get the generational thing. It's cool to come to a message board and rally the troops around the complaint bus. Makes people feel better. That's fine. To each their own.
I choose not to cry about it, but rather, try to understand the circumstance. If that gets me a SDS Fanboi title, whatever. I generally spend more than 99% of the game population on this game. I have the same, if not more of a right to complain publicly. I'm choosing not to.
-
I think we all are here passionate fanboys (and some girls maybe) of the game. If not, we would not be here.
But I can't agree that not complaining is the way here. If we all would be quiet about disconnection issues, SDS would do nothing about that. And of course I have also another hobbies, but in case of my gaming hobby, this is the real first world problem

There have been many constructive posts about server connection issues, unhandled server exception messages, RTTS problems etc.
I'll speak to the server issues only.
When an unhandled server exception message is displayed to a user at a console, an error log is created by the host. I'd bet SDS has logs in the upper hundreds of thousands. These reports are what they use for troubleshooting, not people posting ZOMG gimme free stuff, dis suxor etc.
Receiving bug reports from users also helps. Often they can parse data, match up the screenshots etc that you give them, and it will expedite researching the problem.

The problem is that SDS has been dead quiet for the most part. Things have gotten better, but I certainly don’t consider compensation free stuff. I’ve lost 2TA showdowns, XP, and the 1st inning showdown due to various errors and glitches. Saying we should get something for that massive inconvenience isn’t asking for free stuff

I was waiting for somebody to hit me with the chicken and steak analogy.
It doesn't apply here because it's not as simple as you would think.
You are going to a restaurant. You read the menu. You want chicken. Waiter takes your order. Unhandled Server Exception (a.k.a. we don't have it right now).
What most of the people that are using the chicken and steak analogy are doing is really ordering chicken, waiter is returning with Chicken Florentine. He leaves it at your table and you start whining because you wanted dinosaur chicken nuggets.\
I want steak, Guy brings back a steak. No... waaaaaa... I wanted a fajita.
It's all stupid man. Just do something else.

This might be one of the all time dumbest things I’ve seen. I don’t have to specify that I expect a game to work when I buy it on the ps store. I don’t have to check a box whether I want the servers to work. It is ASSUMED it will. It would be like going to a restaurant, ordering chicken, and the chicken comes out raw and they say “oh you didn’t say you wanted it cooked.”
STOP SHILLING FOR THEM.

But I have to say now, that I was able to finish event game right now without any disconnection, first in more than 5 days...
Hopefully they fixed it finally and I could stop whining
