You must be new to online gaming. Welcome to 2021 where people can either buy what they want or grind for it. The choice is yours.

lol, you all took the post the wrong way.. I feel like I played great. I don't give a [censored] about a loss in a video game. If he wants to pitch at lighting speed, cool, when it's my turn I'll take as much time as I want. I had a great time and learned something, and no, i'll never accept a resign offer...
Dont worry bro your new here. Let me help you out.
People here fact check...yup...they will go into the game history of someone they dont know mind you to find any crack in your story. Notice the 98 overall comment was destroyed? They follow every nook and crannie of this game. Ask them how many silver first baseman's born in California have 78 vision or above...without hesitation they will know. So tread lightly.
3 is the answer
Good looking out!

Give the guy a break, hes an Xbox player
He had no idea his statement would be dissected to the fullest extent

Except in this case where only one of his opponents cards could be bought. Two if you count the Henderson which is only got from completing the AL collection.

As soon as I saw the "so I took as much time between pitches" I was like oh hell no. OP just a sore loser. Makes me want to go play RS.
-
I bet the OP is super happy he post this lol

In this thread: Several people who feel bad about spending money on studds and feel the need to attack anyone who has a negative outlook on them. lol guess I struck a nerve this morning. This is almost as sad as the /r/poker reddit room!
In reality only one person was and your fixated on this money spent thing so you only want to respond to the money spent player. Everyone was just explaining that 7/9 cards he played were earned from showdowns and can’t even be purchased, this website shows all so there’s no reason to stretch what happened. I also don’t accept friendlies, but your better of taking actual advice as opposed to saying everyone is mad at you when there just explaining it
-
Welcome to the Show. Also, you don't have to have a credit card to have a really good team. I'm NMS and I have a 89 overall team, should be 90 by this evening.

those cards you listed you can't buy, most of them were TA grind cards, he probably packed trout.

Hold R2 when batting and he can’t quick pitch you.

Classic back peddle.

Dude no matter if some one grinds the game , which I do or puts there hard earned money down! Do not judge them for it. If I had money I wanted to blow on a hobby I would! Cause rather buy my team and play h2h all the time? Instead of flipping cards, grinding boring moments and showdowns!! I just can't justify spending extra money on a video game we play for only 1 year! It's not worth it. But I will never ever put a person down for spending and getting amazing team. Last year in MLB 20 I think I picked up stubs once when it was 50% or 40% off one time. I had the best team u could get and over 5 million stubs left over at end of year.
Dude play , have fun and get better

If you’re not going to try to play legit
What's not legit about taking the allowed time between pitches?
He should have beat me 20-0, not 6-3. lolI just looked up his lineup:
Henderson, LF
Trout, CF
Gallo, 3B
Perez, C
Mazara, RF
Smith, 1B
Goodrum, SS
Fletcher, 2B
Sanchez, PThe game's been out a week.
pretty sure you can have this team with no money spent lmao
-
I mean, just be glad this game isn't Madden, FIFA or really any other sports game with online play.
-
Buddy. That’s about the kind of team you can expect to be facing every ranked game.
The guy took a 1-0 lead on you and then offered you a friendly quit, which you declined.
I’m not sure what you’re complaining about. Good on you for not quitting, because you will improve a lot more by playing better teams and players.
That said, holding R2, dragging out the game, and then coming on here to [censored] because someone had a better team than you is pretty weak.
Suck it up!

The dude offered you a friendly quit as well and you declined you reap what you sowed.
Lmao right dude was clearly trying to be nice and he gets butthurt about it.
That’s like showing up to a pistol duel with you Katana sword. Guy with the gun looks at you and says “you sure man” and you’re like “yea I’m good, I got this”
-
There is so much wrong with this post it’s crazy. Could be used as a good PSA on why it’s not good to drink and then post on the internet.

Very easy to have a great team 7 days into the game without spending any money.
Surprisingly easy in fact. I bought ZERO stubs, I got the two free 42 legends, immediately sold them to get stubs and just spent several hours during the 4 days of early access flipping cards, literally making 60k+ an hour. And there are a lot of people much better at doing that then I am.
In between that I was grinding conquest, etc.
In the first 4 days I bought DeGrom, Cole, F. Hernandez, Trout, Soler, Donaldson, Betts, Lofton, Franco, Familia, Wagner and the rest of the team including bullpen and bench were all the best golds.
By 7 days all the golds had been replaced with diamonds. And everyone was tier 2 or 3.And of course tons of people would have done that and tons even more/better then I did
and also without spending any money.
