Played against someone's credit card last night.

It's kind of ridiculous.
I'm a first year player on xbox and I have spent the first week learning the game and playing single player modes.
So last night I figure I would start getting into ranked seasons online. My record was 2-1 from giving it a shot on day 1 and of course I'm still in the weakest division, Spring Training or whatever it's called.
I fire it up and it matches me to a PlayStation player who was still in spring training as well, and his record was 0-0, this was his first RS game. I figured it would be an evenly matched game... lol
This guy must have gotten hold of daddy's credit card because he had a level 98 or higher diamond player in every spot. The game starts, I'm the home team. My first pitch, he jacks for a single shot HR. Then he sends me a friendly retire message, as if saying I should just quit now... lol, I decline, game on.
I precede to strike out his next 3 batters, then he comes in and starts pitching in rapid fire fashion. One pitch after another with like no time off between pitches. 1, 2, 3 i'm out.
So new game play for me, waste as much time as possible between pitches. He was livid... Long story short, he wins 6-3 against my 82 overall team. All 6 of his runs came from 3 pitches he jacked for HRs. A single shot in first, a 3 run shot in 6th, and a two shot in the 9th. Take those 3 back and I beat him.
What I learned was it's baseball and any team can be competitive if you can pitch and hit.

Congrats to u my question always is the game is out for a year in terms of being the newest one why would u spend all that to have every player immediately? What’s the fun?

So here is the issue with you statement.
He had a 98 or higher diamond at every position possible. Currently there are only 4 possible 99 available any other player that could reach that level would required a player to level up their Parallel to max level 5. This can't be bought but requires to play the game in some form.
If you are going to make this claim either present evidence of that team via pictures or you are just being a sore loser
Also you said he hit 3 home runs but if you take those away you win. Umm of course that's how it works he hit more home runs and drove in more runs then you so you lose.
Move on at some point you team will improve and you will run into someone new to the game and they will think the same thing you did about your opponent but this time they will be saying it about you.

The dude offered you a friendly quit as well and you declined you reap what you sowed.
-
I have a suggestion (not that you asked for it). Don’t do the whole “take as much time as possible between pitches” toxic approach. Even if you thought he was trying to pitch as quickly as possible, that’s nowhere near as childish as taking as long as you can; and stooping below someone else’s level is never something that any solid human being does.
-
Cool story... but there are not 98 diamonds at every position yet. And wasting time between pitches intentionally has to be one of the most sour puss reactions to having an inferior team. Grow up bud... get a better team before going into ranked seasons if your gonna pout over not having one.

lol, you all took the post the wrong way.. I feel like I played great. I don't give a [censored] about a loss in a video game. If he wants to pitch at lighting speed, cool, when it's my turn I'll take as much time as I want. I had a great time and learned something, and no, i'll never accept a resign offer...

So please explain how we were to understand the story.
That the other player uses his money to buy his team. If that is the point you where trying to make then who are you to judge or police what people send their money on?
You said he may have use his father's CC what do you know about your opponent?
I drop at least 500 extra a year on this game and you know why? Because I can and this is what I choose to spend my money on!
Quit crying and then try and change your tone when no one agrees with you.

This isn’t Madden where a team of golds would never beat a God squad. In The Show you can absolutely beat a God squad with an 82 overall team. And when he sent you the offer he wasn’t asking you to take a loss, He was offering you a friendly quit so you wouldn’t take a loss because he saw how much of a mismatch it was - He was being generous & you repaid him by intentionally slowing down the game. If you’re not going to try to play legit then just stop now & go back to Fortnite.

If you’re not going to try to play legit
What's not legit about taking the allowed time between pitches?
He should have beat me 20-0, not 6-3. lolI just looked up his lineup:
Henderson, LF
Trout, CF
Gallo, 3B
Perez, C
Mazara, RF
Smith, 1B
Goodrum, SS
Fletcher, 2B
Sanchez, PThe game's been out a week.

Hahahaha you are soft af for thinking that was an insane team. Go back to MUT if you can’t take the L like a man
-
I don’t think you need a CC for that team. Maybe just some good luck. And I love opponents that pitch quick. Keep the game moving...

Well to start
You lied! You said he had a 98 overall at each position this is not possible even with Parallel.
You claimed your opponent bought his team and that it was a missed matched opponent cause he had a better team and offered to friendly quit and not impact record and you declined.
Then you admitted to playing like a Dbag because you where losing and he was quick pitching so you slowed the game down after a friendly quit after they already had a lead
You assumed someone used a family card to buy their team but know nothing about the perso so throwing assumption around you know cause assuming things never causes issues.
Then you ran to the forum whining and crying and got put in your place and have no real rebuttal to defend your position.
You got called on your BS like the game you loss best you just take the L and learn from it!

I'm enjoying the "single shot HR" terminology.

Looking at the lineup i would say, that the guy grinded his game like a madman. As for creditcard comment, its none of your buisness how much or where people spend their money.
Yep. Looks like most of the lineup are 42 players and a program reward. Only can be obtained via grinding, not available to be bought.

In this thread: Several people who feel bad about spending money on studds and feel the need to attack anyone who has a negative outlook on them. lol guess I struck a nerve this morning. This is almost as sad as the /r/poker reddit room!
