Played against someone's credit card last night.

Whenever you see a headline like this you know it's someone who lost but "definitely would've won if the game had anything to do with skill" blah blah blah. Don't play games you can put money into if you are going to complain about people putting money into it. Also as others have said that's a grinded team not a bought team.
-
I pulled Trout and sold him. And I did buy $100 of stubs during early access when things were going pretty well. So I'm sure my team will look bought when I jump into RS. Not really bothered by what people's teams are as everyone has a hobby or three that they spend money on.
I still buy CDs if you want to talk about wasting money. Just had two big box sets come Friday, Plastic Ono Band and The Who Sell Out. I'm a silly [censored]!

When you say he has a Level 98 or higher player at every position, do you mean 88 overall? Of the lineup you posted, you listed a number of 42 series cards that start out at 88 overall - so even with Parallel maxed out, they'd be a 93. Only Henderson and Trout are "high dollar" players, and for all you know, he could have packed Trout luckily and then decided to go ahead and finish the AL West since Trout is the high value card and might as well finish out the division.
Like others have said, not really sure what your angle is here talking about a "credit card" lineup because a) he did offer you a friendly quit which you declined and b) his lineup is mostly a grind lineup with Trout/Henderson and there's no way you know how he obtained those cards (luck or credit card to buy stubs)

I love how he brought the "logic" to his post by saying "if i didnt give up any runs, i would have won" lol

lol, you all took the post the wrong way.. I feel like I played great. I don't give a [censored] about a loss in a video game. If he wants to pitch at lighting speed, cool, when it's my turn I'll take as much time as I want. I had a great time and learned something, and no, i'll never accept a resign offer...
Dont worry bro your new here. Let me help you out.
People here fact check...yup...they will go into the game history of someone they dont know mind you to find any crack in your story. Notice the 98 overall comment was destroyed? They follow every nook and crannie of this game. Ask them how many silver first baseman's born in California have 78 vision or above...without hesitation they will know. So tread lightly.

Definitely a huge advantage doing collections. Big difference hitting between Big Papi and Max Muncy. Papi will get hits and HR's on tons of balls Muncy fouls off. Maybe they flipped stubbs and grinded until now. You never know. Regardless, even if they did purchase it is their money to do what the want.
Besides the servers I am only having a few issues with this game right now:
I have now given up 3 HR's completely out of the first circle and almost out of the 2nd one. Took a screen shot on the one last night that helped me get my first loss in RS. Quite a few bloopers and bleeders didn't help either.Making a thread on the other one because it is a big issue.

If you’re not going to try to play legit
What's not legit about taking the allowed time between pitches?
He should have beat me 20-0, not 6-3. lolI just looked up his lineup:
Henderson, LF
Trout, CF
Gallo, 3B
Perez, C
Mazara, RF
Smith, 1B
Goodrum, SS
Fletcher, 2B
Sanchez, PThe game's been out a week.
Is this really the team? Trout is the only player in this lineup that would make someone's team that did collections. Fletcher and Henderson cards are terrible.
You haven't seen nothing yet. Wait until you run into a team with Soriano, Posada, Trout, Ortiz, Jones, etc. Now that is a huge advantage but people can do what they want. At the end of the day, it is just a loss in a video game. Got my first loss last night. 2 years ago (especially the way I lost) would have made me furious. I just shrugged it off and will play again today.

Want to play against teams with the same relative OVR as you?
Try Battle Royal. I'm sure they'd enjoy spanking dat booty there.
Lmao BR is a beast of its down. That's where the goons hang out
LOL.... I tried two BR last night and got destroyed in 3 out of 5 games and lost 4 out of 5. It's early on and still haven't gotten going I guess. I thought BR was a good place to start... but I was wrong... some real good hitters in there last night.

Hold R2, or RT and you'll slow down the Rapid pitching.

Dear god please don’t be one of those people, one of the most annoying things you can do H2H

So glad they added the icon for this so I know.
I always allow 1 for the first batter facing a new arm but after that it's a step off every time.

Its also completely justifyable and upsets rhythm. Its the people who hold R2 every single pitch for the length of the game that [censored] me off, but if I'm quick pitching and someone does this to me, I'm probably just going to take a bit longer to compensate.

Noone is saying to hold it every batter. But use it strategically. Gotta throw off the opponents rhythm.

Gotta love the mommy’s/daddy’s credit card accusers. Why can’t it be their own cc

100% agree. I was referring to those that hold it as long as possible between almost every pitch

So here is the issue with you statement.
He had a 98 or higher diamond at every position possible. Currently there are only 4 possible 99 available any other player that could reach that level would required a player to level up their Parallel to max level 5. This can't be bought but requires to play the game in some form.
If you are going to make this claim either present evidence of that team via pictures or you are just being a sore loser
Also you said he hit 3 home runs but if you take those away you win. Umm of course that's how it works he hit more home runs and drove in more runs then you so you lose.
Move on at some point you team will improve and you will run into someone new to the game and they will think the same thing you did about your opponent but this time they will be saying it about you.
Exactly!

A bit of advice, since you're new here.
The majority of us live and breath this game. Most of us are also adults with jobs, kids, families, etc. This is our main hobby. Some of us choose to spend money on the game, as opposed to buying cards, collecting childhood toys, or going to Vegas for a week. We don't judge people for how they spend their money. And we REALLY don't like people that exaggerate in order to make a point.
Every game you play is saved, and we have the ability to see your game logs. That includes your stats, your swing quality, and most importantly, rosters. So if a guy has a bunch of free "42" cards from playing showdown, don't come in here and claim he bought cards that can't be purchased.
Good luck, it's a tough crowd if you get caught in a lie.
