well the website on mobile and desktop is still terribly inefficient so it makes flipping cards or cleaning out the binder way too cumbersome right now, can't be helping.

Literally everything. I have sold every non locked card in my library with the exception of my lineup, bench, bullpen, and rotation. I’ve probably earned 250k stubs in sales by now.

He's talking about selling everything he gets from packs, which isn't "flipping" per-say. That 250K is gross, not profit.
I'm in the same boat as you. Earned 10,347 so far today (profit, not gross) flipping tiny cards until my bankroll is big enough to start flipping the bigger ones.

With team affinity giving duplicate cards that can’t be sold off or exchanged I have zero interest in speeding through team collections like previous years. I’d like Mantle but it’s not the end of my gaming experience if I can’t use him for a few months.
