Same, I know chipper is glitched but I have used him in past years so its time for a change, i really like gold Soriano swing so if his 99 has the same swing I know I will really enjoy that card.

Lofton doesn’t have the arm or power vs lefties. Hamilton is clearly better than Lofton.
Give it time. Lofton's swing is glitchy.

Nothing is endgame in April. Soriano can eat my lightly salted sack.

I prefer a more Acuña type lead off hitter with power to drive in pinch hitters/left over bottom of the line up guys. Mantle hit lead off for me for 90% of last year. Soriano is currently filling that role and probably will most of the cycle.

It’s only April 23...There will be probably 20 more real end gamers between now and October.

Maybe nothing is for you but Chipper, Finley & Posada are for me - No doubt they won’t still be in my lineup come next March.

Batting your best hitter 3/4 is overrated. Lead off hitter leads the team in abs and provides protection for pinch hitters. To hell with the extra rbi

Why? So he potentially has 1 fewer AB per game? No way man. He's speed, contact, power. He's the 3 tool hitter you need to lead off a game. Story and McMahon to follow.

I don’t see Hamilton’s stats as being that great. He is very poor against RHP.
I’d rather use the Marlins collection Dee Gordon as a lead off hitter. The guys is phenomenal.

I like getting my speed guys on so then my opponent starts quick pitching Finley & then it’s over. 2 or 3 run bomb. Just my style though.
