Eric Davis Collection won't complete

For the 1st inning collection task. I have the card, I click on it and it says "selected" on it and show 1/1 on the right under collection.
I highlight the box below that to "collect" for 1000 stubs (and more importantly the 35k xp).However nothing happens when I hit advance or any button, I tried them all lol
Is this a known bug?

After you’ve got it selected try pressing the options(start) button and then X to confirm. that’s how I did it.

That did it! Thank you.
Kind of strange because it appears that you hit the option button last (I referred to it as the advance button since it says that in the process).
