Difference between PS5 stubs and PS4 stubs
-
It has officially been a week now since I purchased $600 worth of stubs that I never received credit for. When I reached out to TheShow Support they stated it was an issue I needed to resolve with PlayStation support. I reached out to PlayStation support and they said I had purchased stubs for a PS5. That was news to me because I didn’t know there was a difference. As in if you search virtual currency on the actual PlayStation store website it doesn’t have stubs for PS4 and stubs for PS5. Needless to say PlayStation denied my refund saying I had used the stubs and that they couldn’t verify my account. When I called PS Support, guy told me to be patient as The Show would give me the stubs and I told them they aren’t because they’ve already refunded everyone effected. His reply was still be patient

Of course they want you to chill, they have your money and have provided you no goods of service. PS Store told me to go ahead and file a refund through my credit card but they will ban my account until the debt is paid in full. I have no clue how they can conclude I have a debt with them when they have not provided the goods of service I have purchased.

Did you get this sorted? I have same issue

Contact Playstation support again. I've done this with PS4/PS3 and a simple 2 minute phone call later they simply added the correct console edition.
Do not mention SDS that was your mistake. Simply say you accidentally bought the wrong version and would like to have it changed to the correct one.

Yes, but I had to access my stubs by logging into my account through PS5.

My account was ultimately banned as well. But I regained access after paying off debt.

I asked them that originally and they said that they could not switch it. They told me to request the refund and that it would be granted. Just for them to deny it

As I am in Australia, and they have chosen to trade in Australia - and charge Australian $ in their store - they have to obey Australian Consumer Law. Charging for a product and never providing it contravenes this.
