Starting to think your RTTS ballplayer in DD not being able to get higher than a 65 is intended and not a glitch

Does the ballplayer improve its rating in DD play? Or does that only happen in RTTS?
-
You can only improve the base ratings in RTTS which I like because I used to play that exclusively before shifting to DD last year. Now there is a reason to do both and have been grinding RTTS hard as a result. There are very very good rewards after you get the Diamond Archetype as the final path it littered with stubs from selling Gold Perks and Diamond Equipment that you get along the way.

OK, I see. Thanks for your response!

Yeah I got my rtts guy up to all diamond stuff and he is an absolute beast. Listed as 81 overall but with equipment, he is for sure 99. Good at everything

Yeah. I added a Diamond Power perk off the market and CAP is insane and it’s 1 week in. If people grind RTTS then CAPs are going to be maxed everything by midseason and kind of unfair.
I also added Diamond Fielding perk and even though my guy is a primary 2B he’s getting good SS animations so Rawhide is the way the go if someone wants 2B/SS I think.
84 overall before all the equipment (diamonds all around)

Level up your archetype.

Grind RTTS.
Choose a bronze archetype then check out the program to upgrade to silver, then to gold, then to diamond, then to diamond perk. The programs are STUPIDLY buried in your ballplayer loadout -- press square to bring it up.
If you want to supercharge it, you can download the RTTS grind roster (choose Rockies only), enter each game and fast simulate. Stats count for the program as long as you simulate IN GAME (i.e., not on the calendar). You'll max out an archetype in a couple hours. Turn on some Netflix and do this in the background.

Yep I did this and my guy true ratings in DD are Contact vs R 109 pwr vs R 118 Contact/Power vs lefties 106/106....All defensive attributes high 80s to mid 90s with 70+ speed/BR...Cap is a beast

Yeah progression hasn't counted for me AT ALL in RTTS. I'm pretty baffled how they could completely F up one of their new big modes. It's embarrassing.
Go into your loadout and select "activate" then back out and let it auto save then go back in. That fixed it for me.
