What’s up with vision this year?

PCIs seemed fishy, so I started paying attention to the size after the pitch and I realized that vision and PCI size don’t appear to be correlated at all. Sorry I don’t have any pics to show but Stanton had a bigger PCI than Freddie Freeman in the last game I played. Same pitcher. Just one example of many. Does vision do anything this year? Look out for it when u play and see if you see what I mean.

Vision is outer PCI, contact is inner.
Vision is also the sweet spot in the dead center, but theres no way to visualize that in game.

Thanks for the info. How much does outer really matter tho? I feel like it’s too big to really make a difference. Also jw how u know that.

Vision is mostly key for fouling off pitches and staying alive in counts.
It was described in a stream last year when thet changed in. The inner part was from a dev post last year. (Also ive played since '15)

I think the vision stat in the game helps you see shots better, for example a curve ball with Stanton is harder to tell when he's in the zone, because his vision is 53 . while with Vladimir Guerrero who has 93 vision it is easier to see when a pitch is going into the strike zone.
