CAP/Ballplayer bugged at secondary catcher

I'm sure this has been covered, but I only want my CAP for Catcher, after you level up to Silver you have to use him as a secondary position to be a catcher, where he literally can't even catch the ball.

Does anyone know if this is an actual bug or if SDS doesn't want our CAP at catcher or what the heck is actually going on.

I'm almost gold and I see the two options are Ripken and Baez based which is SS. I just wanna have my catcher be usable.

Any information would be great.

I hope not... Not being able to make a Catcher would tick me off just as much as these server issues

I’m used to the servers going down the first week or two that’s why all I do is grind it
