Worth having a Created Player this year?

I've always had one in my lineups previous years cause they were so OP, but with the new system this year, I'm wondering if it's time to just have an all real player lineup.

I’m trying to figure out how to make catcher primary. My CAP can’t catch breaking pitches with catcher as his secondary. It’s not very user friendly this year.

I think you have to grind through the programs with your CAP to make him good. Going to be way tougher than feeding him binder fodder like we used to be able to. I was so confused at first but I think I finally get it.
When you are looking at him I think you press square (x on xbox) to view the program and then do that stuff to upgrade him to a silver. Then you do the silver missions to get him to gold, then diamond. And you have to do it for each archetype. Looks super grindy at the surface.

If they get stuff fixed it will be. But my CP still only has 2 pitches after my 3rd pitch vanished at some point.

Every position is there prefrerred this year, They get secondary at every position but its bugged atm its like out of position

OK, so it's a bit more convoluted than previous years, but I just unlocked my first diamond archetype. I've used him since day one, but you get up there pretty quick being able to use them in RTTS as well. With equipment (the '42' conquest map is your friend), currently my player is my starting LF and has 112 C vs L, 110 C vs R, 68 power vs L, 67 power vs R, 89 vision, 77 speed. His fielding is pretty atrocious though so far though. At diamond, I get to add 4 perks to my player.

Oh im guessing then some archtypes just dont have all positions as secondary , I thought was all cause ive been using the slugger path i apoligize then i honestly believed.

No big deal, you haven't unlocked this archetype yet, so how would you know in the situation? I see no fault here.
