Every year, certain defensive plays seem to happen far too often considering all the possibilities and mathematical probabilities on the baseball diamond. Last years winner was outfield catches while running into the wall.

After 5 days i have decided on this years first nominee.

The direct line drive to the 1st baseman and tag out of the runner on 1st for a double play.

I cannot remember the last time i saw that in a real baseball game.

As of today, it has happened to me every single day since early release and multiple times yesterday and today.

Something about how the play goes down, does not feel correct to physics and realistic player reactions.

Not sure yet if its me rolling snake eyes over and over by chance, or if its a one of this years game engine's odd trends.

Figured id see if anyone else has seen an obvious over occurrence of this play.

Are there any other very specific events that you are seeing happen, what feels like, too often?

I have only seen one -- a single - occurrence of the "running into the wall catch", so far -- which is excellent.

Welcome to all the new players today!
    Cheers!

Oh for sure man! It’s happened to me so much! Didn’t think anything of it until you mentioned it.
