Parallel System

I am in love with this parallel system. It’s definitely my favorite addition to the game from recent memory. It prolongs the life of some cards deeper into the year and being a baseball card fan in real life it adds another level of accomplishment when you get a low number. But before I get toxic again about server issues or something stupid I just wanted to give SDS an atta boy this really is a great game so far.

What is the best way in your opinion to progress the Parallels? I have yet to play with my squad so just looking for a friendly tip

I agree. I’m a card collector in real life too. This is a nice twist to the game.

Just play em and do well! The better you do the more exp gained. Also get exp for plate appearances

do you level up the card in the parrallel card. say if you player base level 80, can u level up base player 82

The base stays the same. It’s like a permanent inside edge

No. each level adds +1 to all attributes.ovr doesnt change.

Wouldn’t work with LS, since they’ll move all year. It’s semi-permanent, if you sell a card and get it back, your parallels still apply

Online is definitely the way you get 1.5 times XP instead of 1-1.2ish depending on your difficulty offline but I’ve been mostly grinding the conquests so far and have made a lot of progress on hitters so it’s going to be fun either way if your online or offline

I got 2nd for the level II Schmidt and I was super excited glad to see I’m not the only guy chasing low numbers lol

Is the parallel system only for LS?

The card you level also stays leveled regardless of if you keep or sell/trade. The upgraded card will show in battle royale too.

you say “low numbers”?They mean when the get a card to the next parallel they have a low number of out of the people who have leveled up the card so for example take Griffey, let's say 6000 people have moved him to level 2 and you are the 5996 person to do it that would be high number but if you where the 6/6000 people to move home to level 2 that would be a low number

I also liked that they stopped trying to hide the topps logo on cards. Either that or I just this year started noticing it.
