No it’s not, you just have to be prepared.

Yeah i got caught stacking my rotation with commons.... i need at least one good SP in order to face the minimum 3 batters. Same applies to relievers I believe. Can’t just face one batter

Even if your entire rotation is filled with commons, load up the bullpen and use an opener

Yes, the 3 batter min is for any pitcher (starter or reliever) unless they finish the inning
