Parallel question

I'm not sure if my answer is correct, but parallel only adds +1 per tier to all the attributes so in your case it would add +2. That doesn't automatically mean that the overall rating jumps +2 as well.

Is there a negative insider edge for him? Not sure if that would account for it but it might.

That is correct. I have parallel I for Grady Sizemore breakout and his overall Didn't change at all

Topps Now cards shouldn't have inside edge, only Live Series.

But all my other parallel 2’s have jumped 2 overall. Hank Aaron 88 to 90, Clemente 85 to 87. Even Eugenio Suarez who is a gold went from 82 to 84

Does parallel affect overall team ratings in Events or is it treated like IE?

It's completely dependent on the card. As I said Above for parallel I for breakout Sizemore his overall doesn't change a bit. I'm thinking more often than not their overalls will jump 2 points as well, that's not always the case though. If you take last years prestige cards for example, FOTF matt Williams and Kerry wood just jumped 1 overall when prestiged. I guess Another way of explaining it is that there are certain attribute thresholds for each overall. Hank Aaron, Clemente, etc are at the higher end of that threshold, thus the 2 point jump. McMahon is at the lower end of 86 overall so he wouldn't quite make the 2 point jump. Hope that makes sense

That doesn't matter, what matters is the way they weigh certain attributes towards the overall rating. Sometimes a +1 to everything just isn't enough to make a guy jump +1 overall as well.
A good example is last year's prestige cards. Every prestiged card got +3 on all attributes, but some cards jumped +3 overall and some only jumped +2 overall.

Nice point guys, I totally forgot about some prestige not getting the full 3 overall jump.
