Done with Showdown

Showdown is easy people will still complain no matter how easy or dum down they make it . at this point people just wanna be handed the vouchers like come on son practice and stay with it believe in yourself .

It’s kind of lame how players who have figured out how to play the mode just flex on the newer frustrated players. There’s a lot to be frustrated with about these modes. Instead of taking a dump on them, why not help them? Give some useful tips.
Like unfortunately, even on the easier difficulties, you kinda have to work the count. It’s a drag, I know, but if you just swing aggressively early and often, things will not go well. Now I’m not saying take to two strikes every hitter, but pitcher confidence is a real thing in this game.
Let’s all play nice ok?

This year showdown is super easy im 7 for 7 and still goin at it

Just keep practicing and keep working at it. I think any skill player level can beat them. Learn who the final boss pitcher is. Stack lineup accordingly. Stack solid perks for exit velocity. Be patient. Do all the mini stages.
I finally lost one...think I knocked out my first 6-7 easy. Then I couldn’t hit Flaherty even with an 8 run head start. It was pathetic. I got frustrated and swing wildly and wasted those 25 minutes of my life due to my lack of discipline. It stings

Honestly, once you win one or 2, the flood gates will open...I at one point thought I’d never win one..but sure enough stuck with it...that being said, you will still lose Becuase of double plays, or JD Martinez turning into Willie Mays from time to time

Remember the AL west showdown last year before that nerfed it? Having to face Ohtani on Allstar as the first showdown pitcher (not even the final one) needing 5 runs with no one on base with only 10 outs? That sucked. They have needs them back pretty reasonable for the consumer base.

TA showdown missions are all rookie? I haven't even looked at them yet, but if that is the case I'll be grinding that tonight along with conquest..
Yeah, missions are pretty quick too and they cut a third off the Showdown (just one mini boss) so not only is it easy but it’s also shorter than last year,
There’s still occasional feeling of B.S., but I completed it every time I’ve tried so far. If anything, you can argue it’s lost the feeling and point of Showdown and just feels like busy work now...though not necessarily complaining because I’ll take that over wasting 2 hours with nothing to show.

Man I am sorry but the 1st inning showdown was EASY! Its you bro

I was pretty critical of these early on last year. They were horrible for the average and below player. They were great for above average and WS caliber players.
I'm not sure how much showdown I've played since early release dropped but it's probably around 15 hours and I have won 10 of these. I'm not saying they are EASY but they are DOABLE and much a better solution for me than using MTO to complete affinities.
-
It is easier than ever. I've played 6 and won all of them without even really trying. I don't think there is anything they could do to make it easier at this point.

I actually think it's mental. I go in thinking that something will screw up and I'll lose.
I need to figure out how to get over that feeling.
