Everyone is screaming and bitching about the game . Honestly gameplay doesn’t seem bad sure it kinda feels like homerun derby in ranked season , but you know what ? Look at real baseball the most homers ever hit in a single season last year. Biggest complaint I have is gold and diamond outfielders dropping routine fly balls.

Agreed. The fans of this game are the biggest cry babies on the internet.
The game is playing great. Hitting feels great. They will work out the kinks. But this game is fun. If they screw with it too much it could be [censored] the rest of the year.
God forbid anyone on here loses in stride and doesn’t blame the game.

I, and many others, have said for years that it does not matter what changes, additions or improvements SDS makes to the game. There will always be some contingent, usually a vocal minority, that will scream [censored] murder.
There are legitimate complaints to be made about the game but some people cannot seem to make them without being insulting about it, either to SDS or other players.

They will tweak hitting some. End of the day if guys are squaring up the ball they should be rewarded. I think they are a little too generous on power attributes which leads to this.
Increase speeds a tad
Lower PCI a tad
Let the edge of the strike zone be more of a gray zone where guys can get some borderline callsIf the ball touches the strike zone it should be eligible for a strike

I'm struggling out of the gates in RS. Sitting at like 7-12 and at one point I was 2-9. No major complaints from me tho on gameplay. The only thing I've noticed is that there is a constant lag when innings get started. Seems like I'm always "waiting on my opponent" but I'm sure he has the same message for me. I've experienced this in every single online ranked game I've played.

not on SDS, but I swear every time i miss my release on my pitch it gets crushed, so i better learn to be perfect/perfect on pitching or i'm toast. just sucks when pitching was my strength.

Lol guess pitch has no business in online play, you aren’t the Houston Astros. You don’t get to know the exact location and type of pitch that is coming.

Lol guess pitch has no business in online play, you aren’t the Houston Astros. You don’t get to know the exact location and type of pitch that is coming.
I never said it should be in online play. I said it upset players who used that feature in offline DD modes like conquest, because they did not just remove it from online play they removed it from all of DD.
I am not defending it one way or the other because I have never used guess pitch but only showing that every decision or every change will have supporters and detractors.

Other than the base running being a bit of a mess, I think the game is playing great, as it pretty much always is. Just need to clean up the stupid stuff the computer does on the bases. I’ve had a runner on 2nd inexplicably dive back to second on a sharp grounder up the middle and some really poor tag ups on balls that clearly weren’t going to be caught. But I’m hopeful they get that dialed soon enough.

I think the complaints are more specific than you're giving people credit. Some aren't, granted, but a lot of people are detailing serious flaws in the gameplay and content design rather eloquently.
