This is the first time I can recall not being able to use players with the “no sell” tag for exchanges. Part of the willingness to go and accumulate team rosters is to then turn around and exchange those players for other perks or missions. Now I have a bunch of players I can quick sell for less than I paid so I can rebuy them and exchange them? I hope this is being addressed.

I think they want to make the players you get from collections a bit harder to obtain. I have no issues with this honestly, everybody and their grandma was rocking Mays last year and Vlad the year before.

At the very very very least they need to make it so you can exchange other versions of cards that are no sell.

Like that makes zero sense at all. Yeah sure you can’t exchange a version that you can’t exchange a version you’ve already made no sell, however there is no reason that if you pull another copy of this card from a pack or buy it from the market again, that you can’t exchange it

The only cards I've found so far that are unsellable are the 10 pt TA packs. Those were unsellable because they were meant to give you 4 cards towards collections. Pretty much everything else is sellable right now.

I personally don’t have a problem with eliminating quick sell for locked in players - it stinks, but I get it. Not being able to exchange them, even for the daily program stars, is absurd - almost seems like a glitch. They did specifically say no more quick selling, but I don’t think they ever mentioned not being able to even exchange locked cards...hopefully that changes.

I just reported an issue that we can not sell duplicates or exchange them. I hit the Report a bug tab and selected as feed back. You all should do it to.

They specifically mentioned this in multiple streams.

It's not a bug, it's a feature. (Well, maybe not @CaseyA211's specific case)

You can definitely sell duplicates though, as long as they're not locked in. So if I have 1 Trout locked in and I pull 5 more, I can sell 5 Trouts.

I have to believe that is a bug and needs to be fixed as soon as possible. With the release tonight at midnight tonight it will be a much bigger issue tomorrow.

No sell cards not being exchangeable. I get that, but future versions of that card you pull from packs should definitely not be locked. People need to send bug reports on that.

I am not locking in any collections while this is happening but that does not help those who already have and those who start playing at midnight and will do so right away.

I know it was mentioned in pre-release streams, but the majority of The Show players don't watch those streams or visit this forum. The system has worked in a specific way for years, and not many people would have predicted a change like this.

I get that they wanted to prevent people from quick selling their way through collections quickly. However, this change is going to confuse and frustrate a lot of players. I could be wrong, but in my opinion the negative optics from this will do more harm than good in the long run. At the very least you should be able to exchange locked in cards.

That’s not what I’m getting at. Hypothetically say you buy a 75 overall silver to complete a collection. Use a Vlad Jr in this example. Then you lock him into the collection. He becomes no sell, no QS and no Exchange. Then you are doing the Yankees Team Affinity Exchange and you buy another Vlad Jr to put into that exchange. You can’t do it. It says no sell on him and acts like you never bought the second card.

I've never had that issue. Every dupe I've gotten I've been able to sell or exchange

This is by far the greediest thing they have ever done. Oh and wait you can’t sell diamond players for less than 5 k bc of the qs value but yet there is no qs option

Not a big fan of this change.. I’ve always quick sold locked unused players that I gathered for collections. It’s just my personal opinion, but I like keeping my rosters to a minimum.

If the analogy is card collecting, when I got dupes collecting cards I traded (exchanged) them for other cards.
