Gamestop edition XBox code not working?

Anyone else get the physical deluxe from GameStop? I double up every year preordering digital and physical and went with XBox and when I try to redeem all the DD stuff it says it's not a valid code. Hoping it's maybe due to early access and it will work Tuesday but trying to find someone that got it and had it work to know if that theory holds up.

That makes me feel better although that sucks for you too. Calling their toll-free number was useless so hopefully they flip the switch soon.

Bought 2 physical copies on Xbox for my kids and neither of their codes work for the 25K stubs or 42 packs.

The more I'm thinking about this, this really shouldn't be a GameStop issue. I've heard that Best Buy and Wal-Mart copies had the same issue and the reality is these game are all factory sealed at the same place so it's on Sony/SDS to figure this out.
Any way a developer can respond to make me feel better about this? Sure 4 days early access is nice, but the main reason for getting that version is for the DD extras and it would be nice to know when we can actually get what we paid for.

Count me in as the "code not working from my deluxe edition physical copy for Xbox Series X" club. This is the 1st night i was able to play it and extremely disappointing I can't use the content I paid for.

Yes you can. I've done it every year prior and others whose physical codes have worked this year have confirmed it. You're paying twice for it so it's not like you're trying to do anything wrong.
