I hate that I was right about RTTS this Year

I saw the stream. I saw perk packs in the rewards listed and immediately thought that they were monetizing RTTS even further.

Perks are cards now. Perk cards have tiered rarities and appear to be random in packs.

That means that if you want your player to be very good then you will need to not only go find diamond equipment on the marketplace but you will now need to find diamond perks on the market. And just like equipment the diamond perks are needed in RTTS and DD so the best ones will be expensive.

I have a feeling that this could mean we won't seen the return of Year to Year saves in RTTS in future versions.

I agree too.
This RTTS is the worst for players who are not interested in DD and only do RTTS.
I bought it in Japan so I can't return it, but I want to return it immediately.

I agree. I’m totally disappointed in SDS and what they’ve done to RTTS. They’ve spayed and neutered the game mode for Diamond dynasty. Sickening. I’ve played this game since the first road to the show was ever released. I’ve played half an AA season and I’m sick of the forced narrative videos, the INSANELY SLOW progression, and the weak hitting. Just completely dissatisfied with MLB 21. I knew that when they introduced it to Xbox something would change and the game would go down in flames.

Nothing against hard core DD players. I'm glad you have a game you love. But I don't anymore.

I never play online games. I do moments and conquest. But most of my time is RTTS. I preordered the digital deluxe and loaded it up and jumped into RTTS. Grrr. They DD it. Stubs for perk cards and now they have the same nonsense tiered system?

Progression is TERRIBLE. Base runner AI is still dumber than trump playing jeopardy and perfect perfect means you get a perfect crack deep fly out 80% of the time.

For the first time in 11 years, MLB the show, deleted from my console.

Oh as a gift my wife bought be stubs so my son and I could open packs. 125 packs, 6 gold. 0 diamond.

There are perk packs available if you progress using some of the perk program. But the Filthy Perk was not updating for any of my games. I did progress some of the Batting ones but not the Pitching. I sure hope that using a perk that is recommended for a reliver on a SP stops the progression. There is only one Perk recommended for a SP so it is frustrating not getting the progression points to get the perk pack to build up my player because i refuse to spend money on this. And do not get me started on the loadouts, you should be able to have a pitcher and batter load out for a two way player they have a lot to fix in this game and lots of the gambles they took did not pay off. I feel that they have ruined a good game
