Post here if you don't use PCI...

No PCI is easy. Just wait and swing. “That’s real baseball”... still a video game bro, no amount of flexing will change that. Still a controller. Still dependant on player attributes. Still on your couch instead of the dugout. All you do is belittle people on these forums and stroke your ego with your performance on a video game on easy setting, to boot. I would be sad to be you.

This thread is laughable lol
PCI is fine if you are trying to learn to play the game but once you're good enough then turn it off. Skepple15, are you still trying to learn the game or this is how you normally play? I bet when you play racing game you use T-Cam instead of Cockpit? Or how about when you play Poker you wear shades?. See these are all the sucker's way out, man up and play games properly
So just wondering how does it feel to be at the mercy of the cpu and RNG and just have to press x to do everything?? hard to do 2 things at once or?...
Who said anything about pressing X, I'm talking about using Analog Stride and swing instead of aiming and pressing X like you're playing a baseball game in the 80's.
I mean ..... I'm old .... and old school, but can you tell me how using the analog stick is better than zone? What you do is pure rng. No skill required.
Baseball is a game of skill. If I had to just sit there and press x or push a plastic stick In real life....I would just have to go back to radio broadcasting.
Imagine having the computer deciding if you get a hit or not. Pointless.
This thread is beyond lazy and pathetic.

Come on guys, why so mad...lets all just chill....you guys play your "way" and I'll go play the proper way jk

Just wear a helmet when you play. You might need it.

I prefer directional myself because I hate seeing all that extra on the screen, it takes away from the experience. It’s also more realistic because your batter connects with the ball based on his attributes, not the user with a target.

That's cool. Play how you like, but saying directional is more realistic is absolutely hilarious.

It is, the batter you are controlling is responsible for squaring up a pitch, not the user. Therefore, the representation of each individual player (card) is more realistic.

Not sure if this thread is funnier if it's a troll thread or if it is serious.
Still entertaining though.
I am old school, 42 Years old, retro mode is how I grew up.... and that mode is trash. No way I can play a game like that anymore. I want less RNG not more.

Give me a break. Lmfao

This thread is comical. Are these people
serious about zone hitting not being realistic and saying directional is?? Can’t say I’ve ever seen this argument on this forum. Whole worlds gone to hell. -
I have never used PCI and I never will.

...you DON'T use the PCI. I never have, as I find it distracting. I think I'm just old school. However, I am curious who else doesn't.
I only use directional hitting, It’s more like real batting... when you’re actually hitting in real baseball you don’t have some PCI thing to line up, it’s bat on ball, timing.... PCI makes it so cheesy in my opinion ...
So you don’t have to line the bat up to hit the ball....you just swing the bat??

I wish, timing was never as big of an issue for me as actually putting the bat on the ball.

Ok now I'm confused....the other ones on your sidearesaying their "old school" now you mock old school?
No, the only proper way to play this game is to hit on Legend with Analog Stride with pitch speeds at 10, and to pitch on Legend with classic, and of course to throw with Analog. Do all these things and you're a true baseball player and a man .
Says the guy who thinks he knows it all. Any way the game lets you play is proper. Everyone has there own opinion about what is best. This is a debate that is going nowhere. Some of us are not good enough to play on Legend and it is not fun for all of us. Age has nothing to do with it. It is about having fun and enjoying the game the way I want and to each it's own how they play.
-
ya i got to say zone is most realistic. in real life, if a ball is up high, u swing your bat up high to try to hit it. whereas in directional, if a ball is high, u can swing low and it'll be a grounder. see the difference.

I don’t use a pci

Does it make you guys feel good at the game to have the cpu decide everything for you?
Seen this guy before. So much hate for directional, does it make you feel like a big man to use a pci? Lol. You always care so much about other players
-
Ps I use pci

This has brightened my day. Thank you all. You are all right, in your own way. maybe.
