Another pre-download question

I preordered Jackie Robinson Deluxe Edition on PS4 and I just got PS5. In library on PS5 I have PS4 version of The Show 21.
What version will pre-dowload on PS5 and how I can recognize it? If it downloads PS4 version, what to do? Delete it and than download version for PS5? -

I think this game is a ps4 game that gets ps5 patches/enhancements (like god of war, GoT). It would make sense to show as a ps4 game in this case.

This isn't true. There may not be a huge visual difference between them, but they are definitely different versions.

I'm not sure why you're linking a completely irrelevant article about God of War. Clearly there are games that get patches to make them run better on PS5. You said you think this game (MLB The Show 21) would be one of them. That's wrong, and it isn't something we need to wait and see about. The PS5 version of The Show 21 is a completely separate version. It costs $10 more. It requires the use of the Dualsense (Dualshock 4 CANNOT be used). It has features like stadium creator which the PS4 version doesn't have.
I'm sure you could run a PS4 version on the PS5 and have it run better just like 20, but it is not the same as the PS5 version.

Digital Deluxe is considered a duel entitlement you get code different code for each sytem is my understanding.
If i had to guess i would say if same acct. Was used on both systems then each system would by default download the appropriate version since in this case both versions come in digital deluxe.
Now this is just a guess the reason it showed up in library as ps4 purchase could be Sony's way of tracking how many ps5's need to be produced and shipped still i dunno.
But i would also recommend tuning into the stream tomorrow where they will be discussing next gen. 3 pm PT

Yes, I do, I have same account on PS4 and PS5.
I think I have to wait until 4/16, what version will download. Now is Digital Deluxe edition unavailable for me on PS5 in the store.
I hope, we will hear something about dual entitlement how it works in the next stream

I got two completely different versions of the game downloaded and ready to play. The games are not the same game.
