Pitching question

How on earth do you guys throw curveballs to the CPU without them mashing it 450 feet? I could throw a perfect curve and it seems like every time, not even leaving it hanging, they just crush it. Any tips here?

What is your definition of a "perfect" curveball? They are best thrown in a location where its end trajectory will be out of the zone.
If your pitcher is fatigued or lost confidence that plays into it as well.
Also, a curveball is not typically in a pitchers top 3 or 4 of pitches. Many pitchers do not have a good command of it.
You need to throw it so a batter has to chase it so to speak. If you can nibble the outside of the strike zone with it, its not that bad either. You can setup hitters and even throw it for a strike if they are not expecting it.
