Baserunning Question

Would anyone be able to tell me how to have your baserunner completely pause on the base path? For example, you have a runner on 1st advancing to 2nd, however, midway you want him to stop and pause there (rather than returning him to 1st).

To stop all runners press R2
To stop an individual runner point to him with your left stick and then press R2

I only know but never done it. Everytime I’m in that situation I give up an out -

I only know but never done it. Everytime I’m in that situation I give up an out It worked! Thanks again.
